Gosford AFL Club
The Gosford Australian Rules Football Club is located on the sunny NSW Central Coast, an hour’s drive from Sydney and Newcastle CBDs.
Founded in 1971 and being the first AFL club on the Coast, the club has a long and proud history having played in the Newcastle and Central Coast leagues before the formation of the Black Diamond AFL League in 2000. A majority of the current AFL clubs on the Central Coast were either formed out of the Gosford Club or have some connection to the club.
2012 sees a new era for the club with acceptance into the Sydney AFL League for the first time with aims of being promoted into its top division. Our members exhibit pride and passion for the Yellow and Black strip every time they step onto the field, and our club has been a nurturing ground for talented juniors learning the finer arts of Aussie Rules. The club prides itself on being a family orientated club where a day out at the footy is enjoyed by all and all are welcome.
